Biomass & Agricultural Residuals
System Design Considerations
Biomass fuels, and especially agricultural residuals, have unique physical and chemical characteristics which require special consideration to ensure clean and efficient combustion as well as ensuring the longevity of the equipment.
The physical characteristics of the fuel will determine the fuel storage, metering and handling equipment, as well as the combustor selection.
The chemical characteristics will determine the desired combustion parameters, influencing the design of the combustor/boiler combination and downstream equipment.
